A play on "Fountain" (1917) by Marcel Duchamp, Our Mutt transforms the iconic readymade into a functional and unique water bowl for pets.
Each Our Mutt is hand cast in ceramic clay with the edition number and date on the bowl. Our Mutt is food & water safe and made in Dallas, TX by Tamara Johnson and Trey Burns.
Tamara received her MFA from RISD in 2012 and Trey received his from SCAD in 2008. After moving to Texas from New York in 2018, Johnson and Burns started Sweet Pass Sculpture Park, a west Dallas outdoor exhibition space focused on showcasing emerging and mid-career artists. Tamara and Trey show their work locally and internationally and hold teaching positions at SMU.
