Parto da Viola Socks
Amadeo de Souza-Cardoso painted this Cubist exploration of the senses, centering a depiction of a musical instrument in a visually bustling setting, in 1916. Sadly, the Portuguese artist died not long after during the Spanish Flu Pandemic of 1918. “Parto da Viola” is now located at the Calouste Gulbenkian Museum in Lisbon.
