Afromuses (Man) Tea Towel X Chris Ofili
A practical and fun way to dry the dishes, this Chris Ofili tea towel can also be stretched onto a canvas at your local frame maker and double up as an affordable artwork for your home.
Afromuses in its entirety presents over 181 watercolors created by Ofili between 1995-2005. None of the works are intended as actual representations of real people. Instead, they are figurative expressions. These figures emerge from Ofili's personal references and impressions of memory, day-to-day life and art history. The watercolors were digitally printed onto the tea towels preserving the vibrancy of the original colors. With a customized border, these tea towels are intended as a set but are sold individually. Chris Ofili was born in Manchester, England, in 1968. He currently lives and works in Port of Spain, Trinidad. He received his BA from the Chelsea School of Art in 1991 and his MA from the Royal College of Art in 1993.
